Prepare the session around the child, not only the camera.
Kids and baby photography works best when the session is planned around age, routine and the number of looks required. Studio sessions can include simple portraits, birthday-style images or family combinations, while newborn enquiries can be discussed separately because they often need more time and a calmer pace.
Parents should share the child’s age, number of children, preferred outfits and any props they plan to bring. For babies and younger children, scheduling around feeding and rest can help the session run more smoothly. If parents or siblings will also be photographed, include that in the booking request so the package and timing can be planned for the full group.
